Farmer's Carry

The Farmer's Carry is a full-body exercise and is suited for all fitness levels. Obviously, the heavier the weight, to more challenging it will be. You can use dumbbells, kettlebells, or even sandbags. If you don't have 2 of these, no problem. The Farmer's carry can be performed on one side at a time and is actually a great way to even out any weaknesses on one side. I prefer to use KBs for this movement. KB's challenge the grip strength more than DB.

Start with your DBs/KBs on the ground. Deadlift them up with a straight back, using the legs to lift. Push your shoulder blades together and stand tall with DBs at your sides. Walk to your target and return back. Try not to set the DBs down before you return. Challenge yourself by increasing the distance of the carry and the weight of your DBs.

Look for this movement in Wednesday's workout.
